Pastoral Care Week

Whereas, (name of agency) seeks to care for the whole person, and,

Whereas, the spiritual caregivers share in mission by providing support for the spiritual concerns of the entire community, and

Whereas, the theme for Spiritual Care Week in 2023 is “Chaplaincy and Mental Health: It's Healthy to Get Help,” which celebrates pastoral (spiritual) caregivers as part of an interdisciplinary and holistic team approach.

Whereas, all share in this basic concern for the human spirit,

Be it resolved, We join in proclaiming October 22-23, 2023 as Spiritual Care Week and encourage all to celebrate the contributions of pastoral (spiritual) caregivers to the work of (name of agency).

Whereas, (name of agency) exists to bring life and health to our community, and

Whereas, the spiritual caregivers participate in our common mission by listening carefully to all voices and promoting the growth of the human spirit, and

Whereas, the theme for Spiritual Care Week in 2023 is “Chaplaincy and Mental Health: It's Healthy to Get Help", which celebrates pastoral (spiritual) caregivers as part of an interdisciplinary and holistic team approach.

Whereas, this valuing of our diverse voices promotes the best in our agency and hope for our future,

Be it resolved, We join in proclaiming October 25-31, 2020 as Spiritual Care Week and encourage all to celebrate the contributions of pastoral (spiritual) caregivers to the work of (name of agency).
